Good read and interesting history of "old" San Francisco. I did not realize it was so sordid!
This is a colorful telling of SF history, with compelling characters who commit terrible deeds. It's a page turner!
The story rolls along nicely. Quite an intersection of cultures. The author spent a lot of time to assure accuracy in the details of the narrative. Recommend!
